Q1.
How does Canano Technologies LLC make its nanopowders?
A1.
Canano Technologies LLC produces its nanopowders through an advanced
proprietary vacuum/condensation process.
Q2.
Are the nanopowders dangerous to work with or ship?
A2.
Some
nanopowders are classified as a flammable solid. All of our shipments
comply with the stringent requirements of governmental agencies, the
common carrier and our highest standards. Powder is shipped under inert
gas and in an air-tight container. Some materials can be spark,
friction and shock sensitive so customers should take all necessary
precautions and use locally approved procedures for handling
nanopowders.
Q3.
How is the particle size and/or coating thickness measured?
A3.
Particle size and/or coating thickness are calculated by combining
surface area measurements, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) scanning
electron microscope (SEM) or tunneling electron microscope (TEM).
Q4.
What is the typical coating thickness?
A4.
Coating the particles may decrease agglomeration. Our typical coating
ranges from 1.0 – 2.5 nanometers.
Q5.
How much powder is available?
A5.
As
much as you need. Canano Technologies LLC is currently expanding our
production capabilities to meet customer demand. We will continue to
grow production as required.
Q6.
What nanopowder constitutes the bulk of Canano Technologies LLC
production?
A6.
Most
production is focused on the manufacture of 20-60 nanometers.
Q7.
Can I get help developing my application?
A7.
YES,
we have a highly regarded expertise in nanopowders formulations.
